Long History of Technical Experience

Although Imagine Medical Gas, LLC has only been in business for a short time my experience in the medical field goes back 35 years.  I started with Providence Health & Services in 1982 as a Clinical Engineer, service technician for medical equipment i.e. lasers, IV pumps & anesthesia machines.  In 2001 I was promoted to manager of Providence’s out side service organization, Cooperative Health Resources.  It was as a manager that I got my first Medical Gas Certification.  During my time with CHR I managed a staff of 11 technicians and the Clinical Engineering programs at four Providence Hospitals and the medical equipment at eight sub-contracted hospitals.  I successfully trained two technicians to become Medical Gas Verifiers.  In 2001 I became a member of NFPA and for the 2012 edition of NFPA 99 served as a sub-committee member for the section on medical gas.  During my time as a manager I served on multiple safety committees performing safety , Life Safety & ILS inspections.  I represented the Medical Equipment section for JCAHO/TJC inspections for the four hospitals I managed as well as those that sub contracted with CHR.  In 2017 I retired from PHS/CHR and started my own business, Imagine Medical Gas, LLC
